Germany remains on high alert for strong winds. Roads and tracks closed and flights canceled due to the passage of storm Ylenia. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia has closed schools. The storm hit the entire north and east of Germany, causing flooding and damage to buildings.
The state-owned railway company Deutzche Bahn suspended long-distance routes between seven regions in the north of the country throughout Thursday morning. The storm has left winds of up to 135 km / h in some areas. A dozen flights have been canceled at Hamburg airport.
