The weekend promises to be gloomy in Bordeaux.
Not a weekend to put your nose out at Bordeaux and throughoutAquitaine, this saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January, although the prospect of a third confinement take on thickness.
Meteorologists announce the arrival of the storm Justine on the South West of France with some risk of strong winds and of floods.
While temperatures will remain fairly mild in Aquitaine (between 8 and 12 degrees), the weekend promises to be rainy throughout the region and windy.
Up to 80 km / h in Bordeaux
On Saturday, the coastline will be swept by gusts of up to 65 km / h. Inland, it will blow less strongly. In Bordeaux for example, we expect gusts of 50 km / h.
On Sunday, in the afternoon and in the evening, the gusts will be more violent with 90 km / h in Lacanau or 80 km / h in Bordeaux and Libourne.
On the Landes and Basque coastlines, peaks at 100 km / h are planned as in Biarritz, Bayonne or Mimizan.
South Gironde fears flooding
In yellow vigilance for floods since the end of the week, the region will also be exposed to the risk of overflowing rivers as in South-Gironde where the water tables are full, recalls The Republican, and where we fear new floods.
Last weekend, floods had occurred in Langonnais or Réolais. An area where the rivers are saturated and where the storm Justine could cause further damage.
