The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued level I and II warnings against strong winds for Sunday and Monday. They concern most of the country. A level II warning for strong and very strong winds with an average speed of 40 to 55 km/h and gusts of up to 95 km/h, blowing from the north-west and west, has been issued for the north-west of the country. The Government Security Center sent an RCB alert to residents of northwestern Poland. It applies to Sunday and the night from Sunday to Monday (October 13/13).

“Strong wind forecast. Possible power outages. Secure items that may pose a threat when carried away by the wind” – this is the message sent to residents of cities and counties covered by IMWM’s level II warning.

There will be strong winds almost throughout Poland.

First degree warning – strong and very strong wind with an average speed of 30 km/h to 45 km/h, gusts up to 85 km/h, from the west and local storms – applies to most parts of the country, excluding the province. Podlaskie, most of the province Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (counties covered by the warning: Iława, Nowe Miasto, Działdowo) and the north-eastern corners of the province. Masovian Voivodeship.

Warnings have been issued for Sunday: Level II warnings are in force from 6, 1st degree will come into force from 10. Both warning levels will be valid until Monday, October 14.
