The Governor of the entity, Miguel Ángel Barbosa, accused that the event could be part of the power struggle that exists within the state’s prisons.

After the video was released, the state Secretary of Public Security reported that it had opened an investigation into the case to determine the authenticity of the recording.

“Regarding a video that circulates on social networks about an alleged attack on a PPL, it is reported that investigations are being carried out to verify its authenticity and, where appropriate, take the necessary legal and operational actions,” he added.

For his part, the Governor of the entity, Miguel Ángel Barbosa, accused that the event could be part of the power struggle that exists within the state’s prisons.

“When you see something like this, what it represents is the struggle for the internal power of San Miguel d the inmates, you can set up a whole scene to create conditions of doubt and in this case we have to doubt,” he said.

At the same time, he said that the authorities are already investigating.
