For this feature, Spotify has partnered with Musixmatch. The latest update is now available worldwide on all platforms. Both free and premium users can enjoy the lyrics.

How to use the new Spotify feature –
How to find the new function on the different platforms: Mobile App: Open the “Now Playing” view in the app. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Now the lyrics run through to match the music. You can also use the “Share” button to share desired song sections on social media. Desktop-App: Click the microphone in the navigation bar in the lower right corner. The text then scrolls across the screen to match the music. SpotifyTV App: Here, too, open the “Current Title” view. Navigate to the “Lyrics Button” in the right corner. If you activate this, the texts will be displayed. In fact, it is not the first time that Spotify has had such a feature. Some of you may still remember. Spotify and Musixmatch worked together from 2011 to 2016. There was already a similar function for the desktop application back then. –
