PT Honda Prospect Motor recorded retail sales (distribution from dealers to consumers) of 10,170 units in September 2023. Honda experienced an increase of 1.2 percent compared to the previous month.
The two top line ups that are the backbone of sales are the Honda Brio and Honda HR-V. In September, Honda Brio recorded sales of 4,346 units. These sales figures again place the Honda Brio as Honda’s best-selling car with a sales contribution of 43% of total sales in September 2023.
Apart from the Honda Brio, Honda’s biggest sales were contributed by the Honda HR-V which recorded sales of 2,107 units with a sales contribution of 21% of Honda’s total sales in September 2023. This number increased by 9% compared to sales in the previous month.
Meanwhile, the Honda BR-V recorded sales of 1,516 units. Due to this achievement, the Honda BR-V rose 17 percent compared to the previous month.
Another Honda SUV, the All New Honda CR-V, recorded sales of 313 units, this figure being the 1.5L Turbo variant. For the All New Honda CR-V, the e:HEV variant will begin shipping to consumers on October 6 2023.
Other Honda models such as the Honda City Hatchback RS experienced an increase in sales to 224 units or an increase of 24% from the previous month. Other Honda SUVs also reached thousands of units, the Honda WR-V recorded sales of 1,502 units.
Other Honda products, namely the Honda Civic sold 72 units, the Honda Mobilio sold 33 units, the Honda Accord sold 24 units, the Honda Civic Type R 20 units and the Honda City 13 units.
“Honda sales in September were supported by models such as the Honda Brio and Honda HR-V which are still in demand by consumers. Apart from that, to continue to refresh the market, we will continue to present various attractive sales programs that can make it easier for consumers to buy Honda cars,” said Yusak Billy as Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor in a press release quoted on Friday (13/10/2023).
