Strong operation in the region: they seized an arsenal, drugs and arrested a person

As RADIO RAFAELA learned, personnel from Police Station No. 8 of Santa Clara de Saguier, together with the Tactical Operations Group (GOT) of Sunchales and with the collaboration of Police Station No. 12 of Zenón Pereyra and Subpolice Station No. 23 of Esmeralda, They carried out a raid on a home on the street Echeverría at 1000 Santa Clara de Saguier.
The intervention was ordered after a complaint for threats on October 2, 2024.
During the operation, police forces seized various firearms, including a 22 caliber carbine with its respective charger and ammunition, a 28 gauge shotgun with a cartridge, a 38 caliber revolver and several cartridges of different calibers. Furthermore, they found a compressed air rifle calibre 4.5 mm.
At the scene they also found five glass jars with what appeared to be plant material, presumably cannabis. Given this situation, the BOAV drug specialist personnel from the city of Rafaela was summoned.
The prosecutor on duty was informed of the results of the raid and ordered the arrest of the owner of the home, who was transferred to police headquarters. Subsequently, The detainee was sent to the mayor’s office of the city of Rafaela.
