The family driver of former Head of Propam Polri Division, Ferdy Sambo, Fort Ma’ruf, admitted that he saw Bharada Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu shoot Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat many times in Sambo’s official residence at Duren Tiga Police Compound. Strong said Eliezer was also still shooting when Joshua lay down.
Strong said this when he testified at the subsequent trial in the murder case of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat with defendants Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi in the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (12/13/2022).
At first, Princess Candrawathi’s lawyer Febri Diansyah asked if Bawah had seen Bharada Eliezer shoot Yosua several times. Strong admits he saw it.
“Have you seen Richard shoot many times?” asked Febri.
“Seeing,” Strong replied.
“And feel also means huh?” asked Febri.
“Right,” replied Kuat.
Febri asked if Strong saw Joshua fall after being hit. Fort Ma’ruf he said that’s when he saw Eliezer shooting as he walked and then Joshua fell on his stomach.
“Did witnesses see Joshua fall after being shot?” asked Febri.
“That’s right, shot him walking after, Joshua lay on his stomach,” Strong said.
Then, Febri asked if Strong saw Eliezer still shooting when Yosua was in his prone position. Strong justifies it.
“After Joshua lay down, did you see that Richard was still shooting at Joshua?” asked Febri.
“As I recall, yes,” Strong replied.
“Can I tell you that means you saw Richard shoot Joshua after Joshua fell on his stomach?” asked Febri.
“Right,” replied Kuat.
Ferdy Sambo was charged with the premeditated murder of Brigadier Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat. This act was performed together with Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu, Putri Candrawathi, Ricky Rizal Wibowo and Fort Ma’ruf.
“Those who did it, ordered it to be done and took part in the act, deliberately and with pre-planning took the lives of other people,” the prosecutor said during the reading of the indictment in trial in South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), Monday (17/10).
Ferdy Sambo was tried under article 340 of the penal code subordinate to article 338 of the penal code together with article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the penal code.
Ferdy Sambo was also accused of obstructing the investigation into the Yosua murder case. Ferdy Sambo was accused of the law n. 19 of 2016 amending the law n. 11 of 2008 regarding electronic information and transactions and the penal code.
