‘Strong indications’ camper drug victims

There are strong indications that the suspect from Barendrecht drugged the children he abused. De Telegraaf reports this on Sunday. The man, who is 45, is a regular guest at a campsite in Hoeven. It is not clear if abuse also occurred at the campsite. The police have impounded the caravan for investigation.

News of the abuse case came out on Tuesday. The man told the police and said that he had abused nineteen girls under age. The case causes a lot of unrest at the camping site in Hoeven.

More calls
It is not clear if the number of nineteen girls is correct. According to the Telegraaf, more and more parents have been reporting to the police since the case came to light.

The newspaper also says that the case came to light after children woke up while the man was sexually assaulting them. The two called their parents who then went to the police. The man then called a police station.

Younger children
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) previously reported that most of the victims are in group 8 of the primary school. According to the Telegraaf, some victims were five or six years old when the abuse began.

The Public Prosecution Service does not want to comment on the new information at this time because the investigation is still at a full stage.
