A strong rain and hail storm this afternoon flooded the streets of the Salamanca municipality of Villarino de los Aires. At around 6.30 pm, the force of the showers washed away crops and caused damage to homes and also to cars due to hail.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has established warnings for rains and storms during the day this Friday in seven provinces of Castilla y León, including Salamanca.
Ahead of the weekend, the stormy showers will continue, even with hail, on Saturday. The western part of the Community will be on alert for these phenomena and with high temperatures.
