A woman died in an earthquake in Bosnia last night, local media reported. Several people were injured, there is material damage to many buildings.
Locals say some of the cities of Mostar and Chaplina are without electricity, and in many places people have taken to the streets in panic.
A magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook Bosnia shortly after midnight Bulgarian time.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter was 42km southeast of Mostar and 5km deep.
The quake was also felt in Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia and Albania.
