An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 was registered this morning in the Badakhshan and Tahar provinces of northeastern Afghanistan, the Afghan TV channel Ariana News reported, citing data from the national seismological center.
The epicenter was at a depth of 135 kilometers.
According to preliminary data, the earthquake was near the city of Faizabad – the administrative center of the Badakhshan province, and in the Farhar region of the Takhar province, TASS reported.
