The Central Meteorological Administration issued a special low temperature report at 16:11 on Monday (13th), and nine counties and cities should pay attention to the fact that the low temperature may be less than 10 degrees.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a special report on low temperature. The impact of cold air is expected to be from the evening of the 14th (Tuesday) to the afternoon of the 15th (Wednesday). New Taipei City, Keelung City, Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Kinmen County and Lianjiang County have yellow lights (the minimum temperature on flat ground is below 10 degrees Celsius).

The Meteorological Bureau reminds that due to the influence of continental cold air mass or strong continental cold air mass from Tuesday to Thursday, the weather in the north and eastern half of central China, Kinmen, and Matsu is relatively cold, and temperatures below 10 degrees are likely to occur; from Tuesday evening to Wednesday, Keelung , New Taipei has the probability of occurrence of continuous temperature around 10 degrees or below (orange light).
Liu Peiteng, a forecaster of the Meteorological Bureau, further explained that under the influence of the cold air mass, the temperature in various places will drop on Tuesday, and there will be significant rainfall in the north, and local rainfall in the central, eastern, and southern mountainous areas. In terms of temperature, the northern part of Tuesday will be about 12 -15 degrees, 14-15 degrees in the central and southern parts, and 7-15 degrees in the outer islands. The cloud and rain area in South China moved eastward on Tuesday, and it was prone to rain everywhere, and it would gradually turn dry and cold on Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday and Thursday are still cold in the north and eastern half of central China, and other areas are also colder in the morning and evening. Be aware that there is a radiative cooling effect on Thursday morning. The low temperature in the north of Tainan and Yilan is 10-12 degrees, and the low temperature in other areas is 14-15 degrees , coastal open areas and near mountainous plains will be 2~3 degrees lower; on Wednesday, the moisture brought by the cloudy rain area in South China will decrease, and there will still be chances of rain in the northern, eastern half, Hengchun Peninsula and central and southern mountainous areas, but the rain will It slowed down significantly, with more cloud cover on the central and southern plains; there was less water vapor on Thursday, and only the eastern half and the Greater Taipei Mountains had local short-term rain. Other areas turned cloudy to sunny, and the temperature rose slightly.
