Kuat Mauf he calls himself honest even if the results of an examination with a lie detector show that he is lying. Strong Ma’ruf said lie detectors are just robots.
It is delivered Fort Ma’ruf during trial testimony in South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel) on Monday (5/12/2022). Initially, Bharada Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu’s lawyer Ronny Talapessy asked Strong if he had seen Ferdy Sambo shoot Yosua.
“So you didn’t see Ferdy Sambo shot or shot?” Ronny asked.
“Don’t look,” Strong replied.
Ronny then hinted at examining Strong using a lie detector at Bareskrim Polri. Strong also admitted to being tested with a lie detector.
Strong said that at the time, lie detector results showed he was lying. Strong admits to knowing these results when he sees the screen during the lie detector test.
“Have you ever been examined by a lie detector?” Ronny asked.
“Never,” Strong replied.
“Do you know the results?” Ronny asked.
“You know,” replied Kuat.
“What was the result?” Ronny asked.
“He said he lied,” Strong said
“You’re lying?” Ronny asked.
“On that screen,” Strong replied.
Ronny then asked for lie detector results again when Strong admitted he didn’t see Ferdy Sambo shoot Yosua. Strong calls that time results lie.
“So the witness lied when asked to see Ferdy Sambo shoot, the witness didn’t say no, what was the outcome?” Ronny asked.
“You’re lying,” Strong replied.
It didn’t stop there, Ronny asked who was right between Strong and the lie detector. Strong defines himself as the right one, because according to Strong the lie detector is just a robot.
“So which one is right?” Ronny said.
“Yes, it’s me, it’s a robot,” Strong said.
This loud response was immediately met with laughter from the audience.
FYI, Strong along with Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, Eliezer and Bripka Ricky Rizal have been charged with premeditated murder of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat.
In this case, the defendants were charged with a violation of Article 340 of the Criminal Code subordinated to Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
