The power sales company Nordlys Energi has filed for bankruptcy. This comes as a result of an outstanding bill of NOK 85,000 that the company owes Evendo Invest.
– Cool
Strøm founder Stefan Manov takes the petition with crushing calm.
– So cool then, he writes in another message DN and later adds in the conversation that things will work out for nice boys and girls.
The parties have agreed that Evendo will sell electricity contracts for Nordlys Energi for a period of three weeks. Evendo was to receive NOK 85,000 for this.
– Too bad Tommie Rudi is wasting precious resources in the Norwegian legal system, when the judge has to reject a bankruptcy petition because Tommie Rudi does not understand what a bankruptcy petition is…, writes Manov in a message to Nettavisen on Friday evening.
When Nettavisen asks Manov to elaborate on why he thinks the petition will be rejected, he replies:
– Because I can see into the future.
– There must be consequences
The Evendo manager believes he had no other choice but to comply with the demand.
– This way of doing business must have consequences. We would prefer not to have such unscrupulous players in the market, and we feel a social responsibility to hold them accountable. Someone has to take this unpleasant job, especially in light of all the revelations about the company, says Evendo CEO Tommie Rudi.
Manov tells the newspaper that it is great that Tommie Rudi is taking on the responsibility hat.
The parties will meet in the Oslo District Court as early as next week.
