/ world today news/ Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway, Union of Bulgarian Composers, NMA “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” and the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv organize a series of concerts “New Norwegian Music” with the participation of the composer Morten Gottaug and the string quartet Strings Unlimited.
The four ladies of Strings Unlimited perform classical and crossover music with elements of jazz, ragtime and pop. The quartet played together with Richard Clayderman, A-ha, Sissel Hirhebjo and others. They perform concerts all over the world and in Norway.
In Bulgaria, Strings Unlimited will play on May 8 in the concert hall of the SBC, on May 9 in the “Saborna” hall of AMTII in Plovdiv and on May 10 in the concert hall of the NMA in Sofia. The program includes works by the Norwegian composers Morten Gotaug, Arne Nurheim, Alf Hürüm, Edvar Grieg, etc. Admission is free.
