The CGT union announced that it had cut the electricity at the Stade de France and on the site of the future Olympic village of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this Thursday to protest against the pension reform.
Cut to the Olympic village but ultimately not to the Stade de France
Enedis, however, denied a power cut at the Stade de France, indicating that the source post invaded by the protesters concerned the Olympic site as well as customers of the municipality of Saint-Denis but not the largest sports arena in the country. “The power line that supplies the Stade de France has not been cut”said a spokeswoman for Enedis.
On the other hand, it confirms that ” cuts “ in the commercial and residential area around the stadium were observed. In total more than 500 customers were deprived of electricity before power was quickly restored via remote maneuvers for most of them.
