Forward will return to Portuguese football
Striker Paulinho, who in January left Estrela da Amadora for Viborg, from Denmark, will return to Portuguese football and is a loanee from Portimonense.
The agreement is closed and includes the option to purchase the pass through the Algarve, for an undisclosed amount. Paulinho, 23, was transferred to Viborg for a record amount in Estrela’s history: one million euros for 65 percent of the transfer. The experience in Denmark was not, however, a happy one. The forward played 11 games (only one as a starter, one goal scored) in the local league. Portimonense overcame the competition of several Portuguese clubs, with E. Amadora leading the way. Meanwhile, forward Aponza goes to Chungnam Asan (South Korea), loaned by the Algarve.
