Attica will be without taxis for 24 hours next week, as they go on strike on Monday, September 9.
As the Attica Taxi Drivers’ Union (SATA) states in its announcement, the strike will begin at 5 am on Monday and will last until 5 am on Tuesday, September 10.

Your taxi, our taxi, is in danger.
A series of government decisions and important legislative omissions clearly show the guidelines.
- The new tax law is leading us with mathematical precision to unprofitable work and financial ruin.
- Insurance tightens the noose around our necks even more.
- Unfair competition from private cars, multinational applications and PIRACY steals our highest quality transport work every day with the tolerance of the State.
And instead of the Ministry providing solutions, Mrs. Kefalogianni issues clarifying circulars through the Ministry. Tourism that misinterpret the law and prevent the control authorities from confirming violations and imposing penalties. - The government’s obsession with electrification from 2026 is the chronicle of a foretold death for our profession.

Each of us must come forward and fight close to our Union, protest, resist all that is being done for us without us!
