THE HAGUE – The HTM staff will stop working all day on Thursday 2 June. The trade unions FNV and CNV announced this on Wednesday afternoon. The employees of the Hague city transport company will go on strike next month, because HTM refuses to comply with the wage demands of the unions. Not only will public transport in The Hague come to a halt on June 2, also in surrounding places such as Rijswijk, Zoetermeer, Leidschendam and Voorburg there will be no trams and buses from HTM.
