Public sector strikes continued on Tuesday. The united service union ver.di had again called for warning strikes. In Mainz, around half of the municipal daycare centers, employees of the waste disposal company and parts of the administration are also affected. Due to the corona pandemic, many digital strike formats were also set up. Ver.di is demanding around five percent more money for all public service employees, but at least an increase of 150 euros.
