Ruselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation developed a series of Stribog wireless routers that can replace imported analogues. One of the models includes a built-in mini-computer, while the other contains eight slots for SIM cards. The first option will find application at home and in the office, and the second – in places with limited or completely absent terrestrial infrastructure for data transmission.
The version of the router with a computer is armed with a processor, RAM and built-in storage. It connects to the monitor and works as a single unit, while still having the capabilities of a router. Installing additional software turns the device into a set-top box, the operation of which will be convenient thanks to the infrared port provided in the device.
Another model is equipped with eight slots for SIM-cards. This allows you to connect to the networks of up to eight operators. The equipment can work for receiving and transmitting from one automatically selected operator, the speed of which is determined by the built-in program as the highest, or with several operators with the summation of throughput. The router can be used to organize an Internet connection at remote sites and even on the move.
Each of the products is built on a modular basis and has the ability to change the configuration for specific tasks. Routers can be equipped with gigabit LAN and WAN ports for connecting via Ethernet, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, PCIe and Mini PCIe slots for connecting external modules, such as video cards, sound cards or network adapters. PJSC “Inteltech” was directly involved in the development of routers.
“The company’s specialists applied the existing developments in the field of communication systems to create civilian equipment that can replace the equipment of such manufacturers as Cisco, D-Link, TP-Link. At the moment, prototypes of products have been created. The devices allow you to quickly organize a high-speed wireless network at home, in the office, at an industrial facility, – said Mikhail Vinokur, General Director of PJSC Inteltech.
