The streets of A Coruña owe much of their charisma to them, as theirs is the music that passers-by hear. The poet of A Coruña Abel García Pantín, popular face in Calle Real, where it is common to see him selling his compositions, met a year ago, together with Marta Garcia Cabrillastheir testimonies and experiences in the book lazy and hooligans (stains) with the aim of making people behind the tools visible.
Today the city’s street artists come together for a common goal: the gala Music under the stars to be held as part of the Inclusive Arts Festival Festival. The artists change their way around the theater tables Rosaliato which they will rise together with the soul group from A Coruña Sisters at home at 20:30, in a single show with free admission subject to availability. The performance features an unusual structure, designed for all participating musicians to showcase their skills.
The popular multidisciplinary artist Fernando Pujalte will be in charge of making room for the musicians, megaphone in hand and always on the back of his inseparable Lily Cleta, with an outdoor parade anticipating all that spectators are about to see.
On stage they will meet, in shifts of ten minutes and mixing their shows, mythical figures of the Corunna street scene such as the aforementioned Abel García Pantín, who will recite two of his compositions. The London saxophonist and singer will also pass through there Sophie Simond, who will perform some songs with his band. The duo will also participate in the show Improvisationscomposed of Victor and Davisinwho will perform, as the name indicates, musical improvisations and will also accompany Sophie Simonds and her band during their shift.
The violinist Dani Convulsionzhabitual of the arcades of the same theater in which he will offer a violin concert today loopand the gang fierce booty, with the scratchy voice and banjo of Zach Grey as a house brand, they round out the show. From the Californian musician with the broken voice is Raised by wolvesthe composition which will close the act, and for which the soulful chorus will add voices and arrangements Sisters at homewho will mix with the instruments of street musicians in a unique and, certainly, unrepeatable combination.
