Released in February 2016, ‘Street Fighter V‘ will no longer have new content at the end of 2021. To end this cycle, which probably indicates the development of the next game from fighting franchise, a Capcom revealed that the last character to arrive in the game will be an unprecedented fighter, Luke. It will be the last content of the fifth season, and will be available from November, on a date to be defined. See the trailer:
In addition to the unknown Luke, the other two characters that will be available in this final stretch of the game were also introduced: Oro e Akira. Both will be released on August 16th.

Original from ‘Street Fighter III‘, Oro is one of the elder fighters – probably the oldest within the series – quite powerful. So much so that, to contain himself, he fights using only one arm, while in the other he carries a turtle.
Akira, on the other hand, comes from another Capcom franchise, ‘Rival Schools‘, discontinued a few years ago. Young, she is adept at a martial art called Bajiquan and is able to perform aerial combos. The old fight series also shows up in other content of the season pass, the stage Rival Riversidade.

Luke: a glimpse of ‘Street Fighter VI’?
Aside from the surprise that the last fighter in the game was a new character and not a familiar name in the series, the statement by the director of ‘Street Fighter V’, Takayuki Nakayama, about Luke, called attention. During the presentation of the contents of the new DLC, he stated that the new fighter “has the role of expanding the universe of ‘Street Fighter V'”.
“While ‘Street Fighter V’ reveres the past, Luke points us to the future,” said Nakayama. The director’s speeches seem to signal that the character will not only be important for the current one, but also for the upcoming ‘Street Fighter VI’.
Does this also mean that the next ‘Street Fighter’ isn’t too far from being released either? Since 2020, rumors have been circulating that the next chapter of Capcom’s fighting franchise would already be in development. Anyway, fans can only have more clues when Luke is finally available, in late 2021.
