Street Fighter Goes to VR in Japan • Jagat Play

As long as it is supported by the right hardware to ensure comfortable playing, games that enter the VR path usually offer something different and special. Especially if it is specifically built and developed through a separate arcade machine which usually also guarantees a better playing experience than third-party VR devices, for example. But have you ever imagined that this Virtual Reality concept could be developed for the world’s most popular fighting game franchise? This is what Capcom offers with Street Fighter!

Capcom recently opened a VR experience center for Street Fighter in Hiroshima, Japan. Opened on February 17 2023 yesterday to the public, this game with the title “Street Fighter V: The Shadaloo Enhancement Project” will indeed ask you to fight against the iconic Street Fighter fighters from a first-person perspective, including Ryu and Zangief. Of course you have to move to punch, kick, parry, and bring out the existing variety of finishing moves. As the name suggests, the story positions you as one of M.Bison’s men who is currently training.
