The legendary fighting game is back, and as far as the eye can see, it’s looking promising. The decision to use a thick hip-hop theme so far looks great, blending in with detailed character models, new or old, all of which are now built with the RE Engine as a foundation. Obviously we are talking about Street Fighter 6. Of course there are many things worth anticipating, starting from new player friendly control system options to hubs for connecting players online. The good news? Capcom seems to have a definite release date for this series.
The official announcement hasn’t been made yet, but that doesn’t mean the internet doesn’t have ways to showcase their magical prowess. Previously leaked via the Playstation Store page for Playstation 4, Street Fighter 6 will surely launch on June 2, 2023. For the digital version there will be at least 3 variants with the more expensive version containing more cosmetic items and of course the Character Pass for the expected DLCs. Unfortunately there is no further information on what additional characters we can anticipate.
It is believed that Capcom will announce the official release date at The Game Awards 2022 tomorrow, as well as open up a PO option for those interested. And you? Are you looking forward to this series?
