Not to be confused with the game’s demo.
Capcom are really into it Street Fighter 6 and aims to sell something like ten million copies, which they intend to achieve by, among other things, making the game a little more accessible to ordinary players. Fighting-hungry fans have already been able to test a demo of the game, but soon there will also be an open beta test where multiplayer is in the spotlight.
The content of the test is identical to the closed beta that was organized in December, which means, among other things, character creation (limited to one character each), ranked matches, battle hub matches, open tournaments, challenges and DJ booths. The playable characters are Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri and Ken, and these will fight in six different locations.
The test starts at 09.00 on May 19 and lasts until 09.00 on May 22, Swedish time. In order to participate, a little handshake with Capcom ID and linking of platforms (Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S or Steam) is required, which you can read more about here.
The finished game is slated for release on June 2nd.
