The cinemas are expected to be in lockdown until January 22, 2021. However, interest in going to the cinema had already decreased before the corona crisis. Producers are increasingly offering their films on streaming services such as Netflix. The films appear faster and faster on freely available television channels. Is there a chance that the cinemas will be completely ignored in the future? Even if this is not the case, the question remains to what extent the cinema fans really missed the screen or whether they will not return to the big halls.
