Popular Twitch streamer KiaraaKitty has been banned from entering Taiwan after staging a fake “attack” in which a stranger threw eggs at her during a viral stream. The incident has generated legal consequences and repercussions for the streamer.

During a broadcast in February 2024, KiaraaKitty was in Taiwan when a woman approached her and started throwing eggs at her. The person claimed that she was taking revenge because the streamer had tried to “seduce” her husband. However, the streamer denied knowing the aggressor’s husband and responded with surprise.

Revelation of deception

After the incident, it was discovered that the attack had been completely fake. Taiwan police denied that KiaraaKitty had filed a complaint about the incident and argued that she orchestrated the attack to get more views.

Furthermore, it was revealed that the stranger who attacked her with eggs was actually a 32-year-old Singaporean man who was collaborating with the streamer.

Shortly after, during an emotional broadcast, KiaraaKitty admitted her negligence and apologized. In a speech in Mandarin, she acknowledged that she had not thought about the consequences and that she just wanted to be funny. However, this led to a series of legal consequences and restrictions for the streamer.

Ban on entering Taiwan

As a result of the fake egg assault, KiaraaKitty has been banned from entering Taiwan. The country’s immigration department issued a press release announcing this restriction.

Although the exact duration of the ban has not been specified, it is known that the maximum penalty is five years.

In addition to the entry ban, the creator and her accomplice face legal charges for violating Taiwan’s Social Order Maintenance Law. The case has been taken up by the Kaohsiung District Court, which means they will have to face the legal consequences of her deception.
