Popular streamer Amouranth has surprised her followers by announcing that she will be leaving Twitch, Amazon’s live streaming platform.

This decision comes in response to the recent monetization policies implemented by the platform, which have generated controversy in the streamer community.

As of March 29, Twitch has made changes to its content policies, specifically regarding erotic content. The platform has banned prolonged focus on intimate body parts during live broadcasts.

Amouranth and its controversial content

Amouranth has been one of the most popular streamers on Twitch known for her content involving erotic elements, as well as being one of the most subscribed OnlyFans models. Throughout her time on the platform, she has faced several bans, but that has not affected her popularity or her income.

In response to a Dexerto tweet discussing Twitch’s policy changes, Amouranth announced his departure with a tongue-in-cheek message that read:

“End of an era… plus I’m starting an OnlyFans.” This announcement has generated surprise and speculation among his followers, as it represents a significant change in his career as a streamer.

Although he will be leaving Twitch, Amouranth will continue streaming on Kick, a platform that allows 18+ content. Currently, she has more than 220,000 followers on that platform.
