Cincinnati, Ohio – There have been several superstars in the history of rap, such as Dr. Dre, Eminem or 50 Cent. In the 21st century, however, it was Drake who was able to deliver new standards and trends non-stop. A conversation with Drake is probably the dream of thousands of fans around the world. The YouTuber IShowSpeed actually got the rapper on his cell phone, but the only 18-year-old spoiled the virtual meeting, which ended abruptly.

YouTuber IShowSpeed calls Drake – Rapper feels bothered and hangs up without further ado
Speed is on the phone with Drake: Speed has grown into one of the biggest YouTubers in the world over the past year. At just 18 years old, he has already shot videos with some of the big names in the scene, such as KSI and MrBeast. Speed also maintains prominent contacts outside of the YouTube bubble.
One of them is the US rapper Drake, known for songs like Hotline Bling or One Dance. Speed had already been in contact with the rapper via Instagram. During a live stream on Feb. 15, the streamer tried his luck and called Drake. To his surprise, the rapper actually answered his phone.
Speed jumped out of his chair with joy. The phone call initially went quite positively and was characterized by mutual recognition. Just as Drake was talking about how he too is a big Cristiano Ronaldo fan and how he and Speed are alike in that sense, the trigger came. Speed even flew after his idol just to see him play.
Drake just hangs up: Speed made an odd compliment to Drake. “Your voice is so sexy.” Drake ignored what was said and hung up immediately. Speed then freaked out and lashed out wildly. The opportunity again with Drake to speak will probably not result in speed any time soon.
IShowSpeed is also a rapper – How a YouTuber contributed the World Cup hit
Speed der Rapper: IShowSpeed is not only a streamer, but also voice-singing like Drake. His rap songs have millions of streams on Spotify. His most successful song is “World Cup”, which was released to coincide with the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Speed’s song has more than 20 million more streams than the official World Cup song called “Hayya Hayya”.
