And also the legendary “Rooftop Concert”, the very last appearance of the Beatles on January 30, 1969 at lunchtime, when the band played with Billy Preston on the roof of the Apple Corps headquarters in London’s Savile Row 3, not far from Piccadilly Circus. Only in front of a handful of invited guests and members of the film crew who captured the appearance for the documentary “Let It Be”, which only came to cinemas in 1970 – after the pop legends split up – on celluloid. In Jackson’s documentary he should be seen in its entirety.
