“STREAM Festival 2023: Free Entry and More Than 60 Program Items”

More than 60 program items await on the three festival days of the STREAM Festival (May 18-20), which this year is moving from Urfahr to Linz.

The timetable on the website provides the best overview with all detailed information. The individual music acts are presented and there are links to audio samples. In the mobile version, users can create their favorites and put together their own program. “The Stream Festival with free entry for everyone with a focus on digitization in music aims to provide up-to-date and mobile information about the respective daily program via social media or the website. Whether it’s the stage program, the guided tours in the AEC, the talks or the acts in the individual clubs, you can easily find the right program here with just one click. The possibility of being able to put together the program yourself in the mobile version is particularly cool,” says City Councilor for Culture Doris Lang-Mayerhofer.

On May 18th, the music festival starts, which, in addition to the concert and DJ program, also deals with pop-cultural topics in the context of talks and specials. The centerpiece this year is the open-air stage at Pfarrplatz, presented by Ö1 on the opening night, Friday 19th and Saturday 20th May, under the patronage of FM4.

The art university on the main square is another festival venue with the open-air club stage in the inner courtyard and the talks in the lecture halls on the ground floor. Access to the art university is not only possible from the main square, but also via Adalbert-Stifter-Platz or Adlergasse or via the pedestrian bridge at the Generali-Center. Other festival locations are the OK Deck, Moviemento Kino and Solaris located around the OK Platz, the KAPU as well as the Ars Electronica Center and the Stadtwerkstatt in Urfahr. Admission to the entire program is free.
