A great loss for Greek sports journalism, as Stratos Seftelis passed away at the age of 68. The news was announced by his brother, Kostas.
Stratos Seftelis was born on November 1, 1955 in Mytilini. He began his journalistic career at the newspaper “Fos ton Spor”, then moved on to “Athletic Echo” and later to “Ethnos”, where he stayed for over 30 years.
From 1981, he worked at ERT, where he covered countless football, athletics and aquatics matches, presenting sports shows, while he was the director of sports programs on public television from 1993 to 1998. At the same time, he was also the commissioner of PSAT.
