The Nature4Cities project aims to work on and strengthen vulnerable technical aspects that the city faces. For this, it seeks to develop measures to mitigate factors that reduce the quality of the environment. Likewise, adapt new mechanisms on good practices for the care of natural resources in the city.
The authorities announced that this project has a duration of two years and that the support of local authorities and government institutions, such as MARN, is essential to expand this initiative.
The attendees mentioned that the project is of great importance for the city. In addition, it is part of the strategic alliances with international organizations to open new development opportunities for the country.
On the other hand, it was announced that it seeks to replicate this type of actions in other cities for the improvement of the environment. Likewise, work is being done with other allies to develop more climate adaptation plans that benefit the entire national territory.
