“The equestrian circus is about bringing together the body of the animal and that of the acrobat, so that one enhances the other and vice versa,” describes Marie Molliens, the ring director. Since its beginnings in 2010, the Strasbourg company, founded by the acrobat actors Sarah Dreyer and Vincent Welter, has questioned our humanity through entertainment. The horses, pillars of their shows, place their human partners in a call for accuracy, integrity, trust and sincerity. A circus which carries the ambition that the relationship between men and animals contributes to our connection to nature.
