It’s summer vacation and 15-year-old Cole (Caleb McLaughlin) spends this with his father in Philadelphia. The reason for the trip is his problems at school back home in Detroit. Cole hardly knows his father Harp (Idris Elba). He knows nothing about the scene he belongs to and how it will change his life.
Caleb McLaughlin is best known to Netflix fans from his role as Lucas Sinclair. There he fights with his friends against the dark creatures of the shadow world and is interested in “Dungeons and Dragons”. When the series began, the actor was just 15 years old, and is now a real Hollywood star. Now the young actor shows himself from a more serious and adult side.

Concrete Cowboy: The wild scene of the big city cowboys
Far from the problems of the people in the working-class neighborhoods of Philadelphia, an entire scene of its own has formed. Harper is an avid cowboy and teaches his son how to ride a horse. In the middle of the city, the group takes care of their horses and rides out together. Cole threatens to drift further and further into crime through his cousin, but riding seems to be a real way out of the drug swamp of the suburbs. Although Cole and Harper don’t get along well, they discover that they are very similar and cannot deny that they are related.
Caleb McLaughlin plays a compelling role as a young adult facing the crossroads between support and family and a criminal career.
“Concrete Cowboy” will only be available on Netflix from April 2nd.
