Jamie Campbell Bower has long fought his demons. He spoke very openly on Twitter about that difficult period. “Twelve and a half years ago I was actively addicted. I hurt myself and the people around me that I loved the most. I ended up in a hospital because of my mental health.” But the ‘Stranger Things’ star also had some good news for his followers. “I have been clean and sober for 7.5 years now. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life,” Bower said. The actor wanted to make it clear that every day is a new opportunity to start over. “For anyone who wakes up and thinks ‘oh god not again’, I promise there is a way.” He has come a long way, but is grateful for where he is now. “I am grateful that I am sober. I am grateful to be.”
