The final return to Hawkins is just around the corner. Production of the fifth and final season of the mystical thriller “Stranger Things” starts early next year. Several insiders immediately told the portal Deadlinethat filming of the final episodes of the Duffer Brothers series will start in early January.
Until then, the entire film crew and cast will have time to gather on location in Atlanta and carry out all the necessary preparations, including script readings. They managed to complete it before the start of the May strikes, but the Duffers were careful not to start active production without the creators, screenwriters, showrunners and producers, postponing the start date of filming. Well, then the actors went on strike.
The Duffers and their co-star Shawn Levy promise a grand finale, not inferior in scope to cinema blockbusters. It’s just when viewers will be able to see it, given all the forced delays in production, no one can predict yet. As you know, Stranger Things has a fairly long post-production period. Therefore, it would probably be a sign of extreme optimism to wait for the premiere next year.
