This May 27, the fourth season of Stranger Things, the most successful fantasy TV series of recent times, will finally air. Mike, Undi, Dustin and Lucas will be grappling with a new adventure and what we have seen in the previews portends a gloomy future with horror tinges. If in the third season the theme was in fact that of Ghostbustersin this, however, it will be Nightmarethe iconic film released in the same year as Ghost Buster making us deduce that Strager Things 4 will be set in the times immediately following those of the third season. So let’s see what advances are available so far to understand what we should expect.
We have, in fact, the statements of Charlie Heaton, or Jonathan Byers and the beautiful Natalia Dyer, the sister of Mike and Holly. The latter, as you can read about The printhe has declared: “The Duffer brothers asked us to see the film and so I did, even though I don’t really like horror. I must admit, however, that it is not that it scared me ” Heaton then added: «We started out like the Goonies, now we are in Nightmare».
The cast also joined Robert Englund himself, the one who played the iconic Freddy Krueger in the original Nightmare. Natalia then spent beautiful words for her colleague and dedicated to him a thought of great esteem and affection: “He brought fantastic energy to the set and I’m lucky to have been able to act with him. He gives an incredible monologue, it was gratifying to see how he works ».
Jonathan Byers, who we remember plays Will’s older brother, then made a statement that left all fans of the series really mouth watering:«This season is our favorite, along with the first, which was the beginning of everything, even if it wasn’t easy to achieve. These are episodes that shed light on the whole story, which explain why Hawkins is like this and prepare us for the final season. I don’t know what it will be like to shoot it, but I’m already sad just thinking that everything will end ».
We just have to advise you to do a nice rewatch of past seasons. Water has passed under the bridge since the days of Dungeons and Dragon and its Demogorgon. The boys, by now, have grown up and with more mature tones, it seems, their next adventures in horror sauce will be told. Enjoy everyone, then, and mark May 27 in red on the calendar, Stranger Things 4 is coming and we absolutely cannot miss the appointment.
