Astrophysicists have recorded activity in the area of the constellation Sagittarius
Mexican scientists from the National Autonomous University explored the galaxy using the Fermi Gamma-ray Telescope. They were quite surprised to learn that signals were coming from the black hole near Sagittarius. This black hole is recognized as quiet – there are no emissions from it.
Observations have shown that activity occurs around the black hole. Astrophysicists concluded that a clot of gas is circling madly around it, its speed is only three times less than the speed of light. It makes itself felt every 76.32 minutes.
Russian astronomer Vitaly Ugreninov assured the publication 56orb.ru that this activity is not dangerous for earthlings.
The sun of our galaxy emits a colossal amount of energy in the X-ray range, being close to the Earth. But we practically don’t feel it.
“The earth is protected by the atmosphere,” he explained.
