“Strange Goalkeeper Tackle Goes Viral During Saudi League Match”

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Tweeters shared video clips on the Twitter platform, It shows a goalkeeper’s tackle of a header in a way described as “strange”, during a match between Damak Club and its counterpart Al-Fateh, in the Saudi “Roshan” League competition, which sparked an interaction.

At the 89th minute, Mustafa Zaghba, the goalkeeper of Damak Club, blocked a header from the opponent’s striker, by sitting on the ball, and continued to sit on it for some moments.

This save is considered one of the strangest saves in the Saudi League this season.

The companions of goalkeeper Mustafa Zaghba tied with their host Al-Fateh with a goal for one, in the 29th round competitions.

Damak club is in seventh place on the ladder of the “Roushen” league standings, with 36 points, while its rival, Al-Fateh, ranks sixth with 43 points.
