“My time at Chelsea is over, it actually feels weird to write this,” he wrote.

“Me and the fans are very disappointed, there’s no doubt. I’ve had injuries, off the pitch problems, lack of playing time and I can’t find the list of other reasons but that can’t change what happened,” he added.

“I just want to see the positives during these five years, being able to work with great players and great managers. I apologize to the Chelsea fans and I always wish you the best,” he concluded.

Danny Drinkwater bought by Chelsea from Leicester City in 2017. Drinkwater was bought for 37.9 million Euros or equivalent to Rp. 591 billion.

Unfortunately for him, Drinkwater was unable to compete with Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas. It was predicted that he would have a duet with N’Golo Kante again (like at Leicester), but it didn’t happen.
