What is “Stralsund – Cold Blood” about?

Hagen Viet is murdered and washed up on the beach in Stralsund. He was a member of a respected business family. But boss Anette remains ice cold – even as hers Daughter-in-law Irina is kidnapped.

The investigators Jule Zabek and Karl Hidde question Anette and her son Oskar. The two apparently had hardly any contact with Hagen and, according to them, Oskar’s wife is just on vacation.

Suddenly BKA officer Polina Kross appears. The economic crime expert has had the family in her sights for a long time. The members are reportedly planning one Delivery deal with sensitive control technology, usable for military purposes. That would be illegal. Kross is not interested in solving the murder. On the contrary: the less the Viets are frightened, the easier it will be for Kross to expose the deal.

This is thwarted. Traces of blood are found on the Viets’ premises and Irina’s vacation is probably a kidnapping after all. The investigators’ suspicions are confirmed: The family is implicated in the murder.

The BKA and the homicide squad have to work together, even though they have different interests.

Karl Hidde (Alexander Held) and Jule Zabek (Sophie Pfennigstorf) discover the kidnapper's hiding place, but where is Irina?
