Deputies elected the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs. The position will be occupied by Stoya Stoev from the parliamentary group of “We continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria”.

The proposal was submitted by Academician Nikolay Denkov and was adopted with 122 deputies “for”, 66 “against” and 29 “abstentions”. People’s representatives are expected to listen to the Acting Minister of Justice Krum Zarkov.

Among the key bills, of which Stoyu Stoev is the author and co-sponsor, are the Anti-Corruption Bill; Draft law for the protection of whistleblowers or publicly disclosing information about violations; Draft law to amend and supplement the Law on Non-Profit Legal Entities; Draft law on amendments and additions to the Law on the Organization of the Black Sea Coast, with the aim of protecting the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast; A draft law to amend and supplement the Law on the Management of the Agri-Food Chain, the press service of “Continuing the Change” recalls.
