The man was found during a check of the aircraft, the spokesman said. When it turned out that he was still breathing, the Marechaussee, fire brigade and ambulance were called in. The man was hypothermic and was taken to hospital by ambulance. During the ride he was already able to answer a few basic questions and his temperature was no longer extremely low.
The Marechaussee is now investigating why the man was in the nose wheel, and how he ended up there. His age and nationality are not yet known.
