Snap didn’t do that present his new glasses of augmented reality today. In fact, the publisher of Snapchat announced so many new features during its Partner Summit that it would be pointless to repeat them all here, but we can stop here on Story Studio, a future iOS application.
This free app is a vertical video editor (hide your joy) for creating and embellishing a video to quickly share on Snapchat or elsewhere. Kind of like Apple’s Clips app, in a way. To editing tools, transitions and effects (including typical Snapchat Lenses), Story Studio adds a more social component to take inspiration from current trends.
In addition to the sharing options, the created montages can be saved in the iPhone gallery. The app will be available later this year, and Snap hasn’t said anything about an Android version.
