Oldesloer wants to join the professional team
Kukanda says: “I am very happy that I made the leap into the professional squad here at FC St. Pauli. Sports Manager Andreas Bornemann: “After Niklas Jessen and Igor Matanović, Nathan is the third player born in 2003 to receive a professional contract from us. He has already shown his talent in the junior leagues. Now it is time to stabilize the performance and take the next step in its development. We will support him as best we can.”

head coach Timo Schultz: “Even though Nathan didn’t play in one of my teams when I was at the NLZ, I’ve been following his path for a very long time. He is a very fast and at the same time robust player with great quality on offense. But he has already proven as a left-back that he can be used very variably. He made a good impression in the friendlies against Freiburg and Viborg.”
Carsten Rothenbach, Sporting director of the U23: “For a young player, match practice in the men’s division is the most important thing, which he will first get in the U23. We see great potential at Nathan. We are happy that he is staying at FC St. Pauli.”
