Several controversial topics were addressed at the Czech Nightingale 21 awards ceremony. One of them was a speech by billionaire Karel Janeček, who resurrected the poll. Tomáš Klus, for example, opposed his speech, in which the mathematician spoke about coronavirus. An argument broke out between them on social networks.
At the gala evening on Friday, Karel Janeček spoke about the current coronavirus situation, the non-vaccination of children and the unification of society before the announcement of the Absolute Nightingale. Singer Tomáš Klus, for example, did not like the fact that the artists present at the music evening were involved.
He expressed his opinion on social networks. “It was good news that someone was trying to resuscitate the music poll. It looked like the resurrection would be breathtaking, spectacular, and that we would finally see the music festival as it deserved,” Klus began lightly. According to him, the advertisements did not even resemble an invitation to a music event.
“I emphasize that I am not dealing with the content of the patron’s message, but the fact that in order to be able to express himself freely, he deprived him of the freedom of the freest possible – art and artists,” writes Klus. According to Klus, after the billionaire’s speech, at least the outraged noise in the crowd should have come.
“The music scene has watched unreservedly as another billionaire buys the company’s attention here and launches the campaign. together, “concludes Klus.
Janeček’s reaction did not take long. “Tomas, I absolutely do not understand your approach and I am directly fascinated by the fact that you have compared me to the ‘moral mud’ of our society. We live in a critical time and our freedom is under great threat.
Check out Ewa Farne’s award ceremony. On stage, she was joined by women with strong stories:
He notes that from the beginning he claimed that it was mainly about promoting the D21 electoral system and at the same time helping artists. “You know that there are times when it is desirable or even necessary to cross the line between culture and politics. The fear that I got an unexpected illness called ‘desire for power’ is completely meaningless,” Janecek responds to Klus’s words that the billionaire did not want to. help but after power.
Janeček concluded his answer by saying that he still thinks that they are on the same ship with Tomáš Klus in the most important principles, and invites him to a possible discussion in a personal meeting. “So I’m no longer an idiot, Karl? Or is our personal and public discussion different? You don’t play fair and you know it, so stop making yourself a martyr and a victim,” Klus responds to Janeček again.
The trot eventually commented on the vaccination video. “I never said that I was against someone not wanting to be vaccinated and I fully respect everyone’s freedom,” he says in the video. According to him, he would be among the first to respond if the government introduced mandatory vaccinations. “But I think it was inappropriate and unfair to use cultural events to present the individual and his interests,” he adds.
