“Storm of love”: love at first sight? Here’s what the new couple has to say about it

It is an unwritten law in “Tempest of love”: the woman of dreams – more rarely the man of dreams – has suffered butterflies in the stomach the first time they meet. The world turns pink in an instant, thoughts revolve around a single person. Only love at first sight.

But what does it actually look like in reality? BUNTE.de asked Dorothée Neff (34) and Marcel Zuschlag (29) in an exclusive interview. The likeable duo are at the center of the 19th season of the successful soap opera ARD. Dorothée reveals: “Well, I believe in great love, but I’ve never experienced love at first sight.” Marcel would rather speak of “infatuation at first sight” – but “something can develop from this”.

“Storm of Love”: Fans Can Expect It in Season 19

BUNTE.de was there on Monday (November 28th) for the official announcement of the new dream couple and thus has a few details about season 19 that are sure to interest true “Storm of Love” fans. As I said, Dorothée Neff and Marcel Zuschlag are the new dream couple. But who do they really embody?

Dorothée has been on the air as Eleni Schwarzbach since October 14, 2022. At first, Alexandra Schwarzbach’s daughter (Daniela Kiefer, 48) is still very happy to finally join the family business. But the longer she stays at the “Fürstenhof”, the more inconsistencies and lies are brought to light by her parents. And as if that weren’t enough, her mother separates from Markus Schwarzbach (Timo Ben Schöfer, 58) and meets her childhood sweetheart Christoph Saalfeld (Dieter Bach, 58). The situation is getting worse, at least that’s what the ARD press release suggests. “When men argue, Eleni steps in, which has devastating consequences. After that, nothing is the same.” All signs point to the young woman having a serious accident and she has to go to the hospital – and that’s where she meets her great love.

Leander Saalfeld: Is the new dream man in ‘Storm of Love’

Since December 19, 2022, Marcel Zuschlag can be seen for the first time as Leander Saalfeld. Leander is the son of the very first dream couple of “Tempest of love”, Alexander (Gregory B. Waldis, 54) and Laura Saalfeld (Henriette Richter-Röhl, 40), i.e. the nephew of the shareholder Werner Saalfeld (Dirk Galuba, 82).

Leander arrives in Bichelheim to take up the post of medical assistant at the hospital. “With his empathic streak, the young doctor gives everything for his patients and sometimes pushes her boundaries. When he gets to know Eleni, he quickly realizes that her interest in her goes beyond her medical care.” From the start, he’s been magically drawn to her.
